REFUNDS, TRANSFERS & ROLLOVERS:
Refunds and rollovers are no longer available for Light Horse Ultra. With our new registration system, you can now sell your entry and transfer it to another runner if you can no longer make the event.

For fairness, entries cannot be sold for more than the original purchase price, and all transfers must be completed before entries close. Once you’ve agreed to transfer your entry, simply open your original entry confirmation email, log in, select the transfer option and follow the prompts. This process avoids multiple handling and saves you the $30 admin fee.

More information on Rollovers can be found in the Race Manual.
QUALIFICATION
Runners must be at least 14 years of age on the day to enter the 24-hour or 12-hour events. Runners must be at least 12 years old for the 6-hour event, 10 years old for the 3-hour event and between 6-18 years old for the kids 1-hour event. If you feel your child under the ages listed above is capable of the longer events, please email us to consider your request.

You are expected to be fit and train appropriately in entering Lighthorse Ultra and do so at your own risk. Trail and ultra running are demanding physically and mentally and you are required to give it the respect in entering these events.

RELAY TEAMS
You don't have to tackle the full 24 hours alone. Our brand-new relay format lets you experience the ultimate buzz of the Lighthorse Ultra alongside your favorite running crew.
Squad Size & Timing
Teams can consist of 2, 3, or 4 runners sharing a single timing chip (which may be attached to a baton). Remember, your squad is entirely responsible for passing the chip at the exchange zone – any laps completed without it won't be credited!
One At A Time (Until the Finale)
Only one teammate is permitted on the circuit at any given time. The sole exception is the spectacular final hour of the event on Sunday morning, when all team members can flood the course to cross the finish line together.
The Silverware
While every single individual team runner will proudly claim an official finisher's medal, only the overall first-place winning team will take home the exclusive category trophy.
CUT OFFS
The official finish line cutoff for all distances is 12:00pm on Sunday, 20th June 2026.
PACERS
Pacers are NOT permitted for this event with the exception of pacers being allowed ONLY for the 24 and 12 hour participants ONLY in the last hour from 11:00am – 12:00pm.

Anyone seen with a pacer outside of this will be disqualified from the event.
